Beginning again, at my own pace.

Hi, I’m Jayne.

I’m an a mother and an artist working across digital and analogue art, embroidery and fabric.

For a long time, I’ve tried to keep up with the pace of social media, but always knew it didn’t really suit the way I work or my character. My time is limited, sensitive and my practice is slower, more process-led, and doesn’t always fit into regular posting or constant visibility.

I’m also interested in how creative work can develop alongside everyday life, rather than apart from it. So I’m starting this space instead in the name of comfort, practicality and convenience as a mum and a creative.

This will be a slower place for me to share work and process monthly writing, occasional short videos, and reflections on making things over time - a personally meaningful-led approach.

• my trials and errors in navigating between home life and creativity
